Day 1 - Conwy RSPB and the new rucksack (ebay £30 - not bad!)
The view of Conwy Castle from the reserve...
Once we'd settled in at the cottage, I went to inspect the Beddgelert works. This is the track laid into Goat Tunnel.
And the other side...
From there, you can wander over the PBSSR 'bridge to nowhere' -cool!
Day 2 (Sunday) - We walked from the cottage alongside the new WHR(P) track to Traeth Mawr loop...
Then we left for the NT car park at Aberglaslyn and walked up Cwm Bychan...
The waterfall a little way up the valley...
And what we headed for - the aerial ropeway remains - way cool!
Then a quick picnic amongst the bluebells.
Then I was very cheeky and walked through the tunnels of the Aberglaslyn for the last time before a railway is constructed through there.
As far as I could get...
Can't wait to ride a train through there!

Cool shots of the tunnels as well- I can't help wonder what it would look like if the 3' gauge with overhead electrification had worked out...
